 About the ICCK

The International Conference Center is located near three major hotels and within easy walking distance of Shimin-Hiroba station on the Port Liner transit link to downtown Kobe.

It has 21 rooms of varying sizes for meetings and other events, including two main halls for keynote events. The center also offers state-of-the-art facilities including PA system, projectors, LAN connections. It also has an optical fibre network for internet access and PCs offering internet access in lounge areas near meeting rooms.
Please Note

We want to be environmentally responsible at IJET-17.
To this end please note the following:

  • The air-conditioning will not be super-cool. If you feel uncomfortable, please let us know.
  • This is a No Smoking conference. No smoking please in any of the session rooms or in the lounge area, except at the smokersﾕ corner.
  • We are providing everyone with one, and only one, small bottle of water at Registration. Please don't throw the bottle away--it can be re-filled with chilled water at the water-cooler. (There's also a drinks vending machine at the end of the lounge area)
  • We will try to assess the likely number of copies of handouts needed for individual sessions, but we can't forecast how many people will attend each session. If any room is short of handouts, our volunteers will make them as fast as possible. Please look over someoneﾕs shoulder in the meantime.

3rd Floor
Reception & Plenary Session

The reception area for IJET attendees will be on the 3rd floor, and the main plenary session on Saturday will be held in the main hall on the same floor (301).

4th Floor
Main Floor and Session Rooms

The IJET-17 sessions will be held in rooms 402, 403 and 406 on the 4th floor of the Conference Center.
