What is IJET?

 

IJET is an annual two-day conference hosted by JAT (Japan Association of Translators), which consists of twenty to thirty sessions and a banquet. 2012 will mark its twenty-third conference in Hiroshima. The purpose of IJET is to provide a place for professional and personal improvement, information exchange, networking, profitable discussion and socializing for many translation and interpretation industry members. IJET was held in Okinawa in 2008, Sydney in 2009, Miyazaki in 2010, and Seattle in 2011 with great success. It makes a huge contribution to the development of the translation and interpretation industry not only in the Tokyo metropolitan area and Kansai area, but also in other areas of Japan.
