Christopher Blakeslee (IJET-25)

Christopher has spent the past 16 years working as a full-time freelance Japanese-English financial/economics translator, primarily for direct clients, and has been using speech recognition software since 1999. His prior occupations include an RF-4 Phantom jet navigator for the Air Force in Asia and the US, a door-to-door salesman in central Tokyo, an in-house translator in Tokyo, a Miami-based economic development consultant covering East Asia, and a negotiator of trademark licenses and overseas joint ventures for a US conglomerate. He has a B.S. in Finance from Florida State University, and studied economics at the graduate level part-time for 18 months at the University of Toulouse in France.
