Chris Mellinger

Christopher D. Mellinger is an Assistant Professor of Spanish at Walsh University, where he teaches Spanish for healthcare, translation, and interpreting courses. He is the managing editor of the journal Translation and Interpreting Studies (TIS) and co-author with Thomas A. Hanson of Quantitative Research Methods in Translation and Interpreting Studies (Routledge). He has co-edited special issues on translation process research (Translation & Interpreting) and the role of technology in community interpreting (TIS). His research interests include translation and cognition, translation process research, and translation technology. He is a state-certified court interpreter and a professional freelance translator.
