Katsuhiko Yoshida

BIO

Originally a software engineer at Sharp and his own software house for a number of decades, Dr. Yoshida returned to the Osaka City University to learn about the expanding Asian economy at the age of 51 and received a Doctorate of Creative Cities. During this time, he served as a visiting researcher at the Institute of Information Technology (IoIT) of the Vietnamese Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), and served as a researcher and research advisor at the Japanese National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (NAIST). He has spoken about the role of bridge system engineers in offshore software development of Japanese firms multiple times throughout south-east Asia, China and Japan.
