Ryosuke Nagao

Ryosuke Nagao (長尾 龍介) is an English-to-Japanese/Japanese-to-English video game translator, freelance for most of his career, who went on to found the Tokyo-based EtoJ/JtoX/EtoX game localization studio “Impetus” (株式会社インピタス) in September 2015 with two veteran EtoJ colleagues. His recent work is threefold; providing the game industry with high-quality multilingual translations, recruiting and mentoring early-career game translators and prospects, and building game translator communities in each language pair and region, within and beyond Japan.
