ATA Certification Workshop

まずATA (American Translators Association)の現グレーダーである講師が、ATA翻訳認定試験の簡単な紹介を行います(受験資格、費用、方式、減点法、合格率、合格した場合のメリットなど)。参加者には、事前にメールした翻訳問題をあらかじめ訳してきてもらいます。この模擬試験を用いて、参考訳と突き合わせながらどのようなエラーがどのくらいの減点になるかをお話しし、参加者自身に採点して頂きます。これは翻訳力を伸ばすセッションというより、ATA翻訳認定試験がどのくらいの難易度でどのように採点されているかを知って頂くためのセッションです。
