Kendrick J. Wagner has been a freelance Japanese to English translator since 1987, specializing in health sciences. He has been involved with ATA’s Japanese to English certification program since 1996 and served as Japanese to English language chair for the certification program from 1999-2003 and from 2008-2015. He is a former secretary-treasurer, assistant administrator, and administrator of ATA’s Japanese Language Division and is currently a judge for the Japanese to English portion of the Japan Association of Translators’ annual translation contest.
