Masa Kajiki

Masa Kajiki worked as a hotel reservations manager at a Westin hotel in Japan. In 2001, after spotting a recruitment ad posted in a newspaper by a local patent law firm, he began his career in patent translation as an in-house patent translator. In 2006, he started his own patent translation agency, MK Translation Firm, in Kobe, Japan. In 2009, the firm moved to Kitahama, Osaka, which is one of the patent business districts in Japan, in order to serve their clients better. He has appeared at two JAT events̶Project Osaka (Best Business Practices for Translators/Interpreters) and IJET Miyazaki (panel discussion). He also produces and broadcasts translation seminars using USTREAM.
