Michael Benis

Born in 1958, Michael has worked as a translator, copywriter and creative director for leading international companies, both in-house and freelance, since 1985. For over 10 years he wrote regular columns for a number of translation publications, including ITI Bulletin, The Linguist and Translation International. He has lectured across Europe on advertising, branding, communications, copywriting, interpreting, marketing, translation and workplace ergonomics, and has taught and examined at several British universities. He has been a Council Member of ITI and was for 11 years Chair of the Board of Trustees of the registered charity Sussex Interpreting Services.
