Richard Walker

Richard Walker is a Tokyo-based translator with a career of more than 30 years. While he generally sticks to business, financial, and legal documents, he occasionally ventures into unknown territory. He is a former director of JAT, has given presentations and workshops at IJET, Project, and ATA events, and has been a keynote speaker for the JTF. His latest published translation is Issey Miyake 三宅一生 (Taschen, 2016), a project that he won by not translating all the words.
