Taking Speech Recognition to the Next Level
Speech recognition is a powerful productivity tool for translators, but dictation only scratches the surface of what it can do. This presentation will examine strategies to improve accuracy and increase speed before moving on to look at macros and ways that speech recognition can be integrated into the translation process, including ideas for automating common tasks in common CAT software. The focus will be on Dragon Naturally Speaking and Windows. Familiarity with the software is helpful, but not essential.
