Izumi Suzuki (IJET-22)

Izumi Suzuki became a conference interpreter in Tokyo after graduating from the Japan Interpreter Training School and then completing the ISS Simultaneous Interpreters Training Course. She moved to Michigan 28 years ago and established Suzuki, Myers and Associates, Ltd. in 1984. She is an ATA-certified Japanese<>English translator, and has been a grader for over a decade for ATA's Certification program. She was also an ATA director, the Continuing Education Requirements Committee chair, and the administrator of ATA's Japanese Language Division. She is a certified court interpreter in California, Michigan, and Tennessee.
