Peter Denison-Edson

Peter Denison-Edson joined HM Diplomatic Service in 1968 after reading Geography and postgraduate Economics at St John’s College, Cambridge. He served twice in the British Embassy in Tokyo (1969-1975 and 1982-1985) before moving to work for GPA, an Irish aircraft leasing and finance company with strong connections to Japan, and later as a consultant on business with Japan. He now lives in Swaledale, North Yorkshire, UK, and is Chairman of the Swaledale and Arkengarthdale Archaeology Group and the Swaledale Festival.
