Paul Koehler

Paul Koehler graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Advertising Studies. After working as a reporter in the United States, he moved to Japan, living and working in the Chubu area for about 8 years. He has been a translator and interpreter since 2009, and is involved with both JAT and the American Translators Association (ATA). Currently based in Los Angeles, he is also the current chair of the JATTOOLS SIG, and loves swapping stories about the latest ways to make work more efficient when he isn't finding time to go to the beach! His preferred CAT tool is Deja Vu X3, although he TRADOS to use as well when the situation warrants it.
