東日本大震災の被害と教訓
東日本大震災から5年経過いたしました。東北地方太平洋沖地震とそれに伴う巨大な津波が発生し沿岸部を中心に壊滅的な被害をもたらし、さらに原発事故が加わり、人類がかつて経験の無い甚大な複合災害になりました。東日本大震災の被害実態および教訓整理の研究活動を紹介し，研究成果に基づく災害科学の深化と実践的防災学の展開として、当時の経験・教訓を後世に伝える震災デジタルアーカイブを実践しておりそれを紹介いたします。さらに今後、懸念される南海トラフでの地震・津波、首都直下地震などの国難に対して対峙するための防災・減災のあり方を議論したいと思います。
