Paul Makino

Paul Makino received his B.A. in Literary Studies from Simon’s Rock College of Bard in Massachusetts at age 20. Since his return to Japan in 1994, he has worked for various companies and involved in translation and interpreting along the way. He works as an in-house translator at a major Japanese diesel engine manufacturer, handling most translation-related matters. He also teaches English and technical translation, reads verse and prose on Ustream, and dreams of having a lap cat for a secretary.
