Robin Schnoeckelborg
Robin Schnoeckelborg is a Japanese-to-English translator at a major Japanese diesel engine manufacturer. He maintains the company’s translation memories and multi-lingual terminology databases. In addition, he edits operation manuals for ship engines to comply to Simplified Technical English standards. Born in Krefeld, Germany, he graduated from Bonn university with a major in law and spent time in the US working as a legal clerk. Enjoying the challenge of living in a foreign country, he came to Japan and has been living in the Kansai area since 2001.
