Yoshihiro Mochizuki

Yoshihiro Mochizuki is a lecturer in Japanese language at the University of Michigan, where he started his teaching career in 2009.  He has been teaching Japanese language courses, including classical Japanese and Japanese translation.  He received his degrees in Japanese literature (B.A.: the University of Tokyo; M.A.: the University of Hawaii at Manoa).  His current research topics are the role of translation in language teaching and translation quality assessment.  His most recent publication relevant to these topics is “JSP Class in the Spotlight: ASIANLAN 441: Practicum in Japanese Translation” in the American Association of Teachers of Japanese, Japanese for Specific Purposes Special Interest Group Newsletter, Vol. 20 (2016).
