I am an advisor and early-stage investor in an AI start-up, a beta-tester for a long-standing CAT tool, and an early adopter of natural language processing technology, having used speech recognition software, one of the earliest commercial applications of AI technology, since the year 2000. I have made a living as a freelance J2E translator for the past 26 years, mostly of bond and equity market research, quant strategy, and economic analysis for direct clients, including some of the leading investment banks. I divide my time nowadays between Bali and Florida, usually with a stop in Japan on the way.
