Tamako Takamatsu

Born in Japan, raised in the U.S. After graduating from Oberlin Conservatory of Music, worked in Tokyo for a classical music management agency based in New York. Taught interpreting and public speaking classes at Simul Academy. As a freelance interpreter, worked for such clients as the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan. Served as the “instructor” on an educational radio program on NHK, teaching English used in news broadcasts.
