Zhuang Li

How to grow as a novice translator and how to build a good career? Zhuang Li is also starting to grow as a novice translator and is therefore very concerned about the issue. In this session she will conduct a qualitative study on novice translators.

Zhuang Li is a member of the Japanese Association for Interpreting and Translation Studies. She is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in Translation Studies with the Department of Japanese, Southeast University, Nanjing, China. She has obtained CATTI (China Accreditation Test for Translators and Interpreters) Level I Japanese translation and Level II Japanese interpretation certificates and published two independent translation books. She also has a great interest in interpreting practice and has worked on major events such as the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, the China International Import Expo and translation activities for major companies such as Toyota and Hitachi.
