Hideaki Maruoka

Hideaki is a NAATI-Certified Translator (English <> Japanese), Conference Interpreter (English > Japanese), NAATI examiner, and Chinese > Japanese translator based in Brisbane. He holds a BA in Law from Keio University and a Master's degree from the University of Queensland, where he also served as a full-time lecturer. Following 10 years working in Taiwan, he relocated to Australia in 2007. He currently operates as a freelance practitioner and the Director of M&W Language Solutions. A former President of the Japan Association of Translators (JAT), Hideaki has also been serving as its Treasurer since last September.
