IJET-34 (September 5–6, 2026)
Venue
The venue for the IJET-34 conference is Storey Hall, RMIT University.
Founded in 1887, RMIT is known for integrating practical skills with intellectual rigour and industry experience—the university's motto, Perita manus, mens exculta (“a skilled hand, a cultivated mind”) resonates strongly with the IJET-34 theme, Communication, Connection, Creativity.
Check out the campus
Considered to be one of RMIT’s most iconic buildings, Storey Hall offers a unique setting for discussions, exchange, and collaboration between participants at IJET-34. The heritage-protected building has a proud history as a vibrant space for feminist debate, political reform and progressive ideas in the early twentieth century.
Inside Storey Hall, the distinctive purple and green interior reflects its 1995 refurbishment and its earlier associations with feminist debate and social activism. The design combines heritage architecture with contemporary elements, creating a space that is both historically significant and well suited to a modern international conference.
The Auditorium in Storey Hall blends striking architecture with cutting-edge functionality. Known for its bold interior design and exceptional acoustics, the auditorium is a hub for lectures, conferences, performances, and public events that bring ideas to life.
