Richard Walker

Richard began translating in 1987 and has been doing it ever since. He worked at a small Tokyo agency and a foreign securities company before going freelance. His specialty is high-paying translation, and as such he has followed the market through finance and advertising to government reports, legal, and management consulting. More recently, he has found himself back on the advertising side of the market, with clients centered mainly in fashion and cosmetics. A former JAT director, he has been a frequent speaker at JAT seminars, Projects, and IJETs. As a sideline to translation, he also provides documentation services for international conferences.
