Anna Berry Fukuda

Freelance simultaneous/consecutive J-E interpreter with 20 years’ experience working with businesses, universities and all levels of government, in Japan, Australia and Europe. Specialisations include human rights, technology and engineering, clinical trials, defence, security and trade controls, investment, negotiations, legal, climate change, SDGs and disaster response topics. Highlights include interpreting for elite athletes and celebrity chefs, as well as simultaneous interpreting for the UN Development Project, UN Global Compact and UNICEF. After translating haiku and tanka for the photography book Dewdrops (everyedition, 2024), Anna would love to do more literary translation in the future.
