34th International Japanese-English Translation Conference
The IJET-34 Organising Committee is pleased to announce the opening of its Call for Papers and invites submissions from professionals, researchers, educators, and students working in or alongside the Japanese–English translation and interpreting fields.
Conference Theme
Communication, Connection, Creativity: 人にしかできないこと
Formats
We welcome proposals for:
- Presentations (60–90 minutes, incl. Q&A)
- Workshops (60–90 minutes, hands-on)
Submission Guidelines
Please include:
- Session title
- Format (presentation/workshop)
- Abstract (max. 300 words)
- Speaker bio (max. 100 words)
- Language of delivery
- Target audience and key takeaways
- Technical requirements
Submissions may be in English or Japanese.
